So I thought it would be a good idea to just put a live hibiscus plant in my iguana cage. I can't seem to find them. Do they go by another name? Are there types of hibiscus that are bad for the iguanas? What type is the best?

I am not sure on what hibiscus are toxic. A lot of flowers are pretty much the same, they are just like, morphs of sorts. I used the red flower type for my torts at my old place and no problem. The flower and leaves are healthy for them so you may end up with a bare plant. You might beable to e-mail some people from a popular tortoise forum for a better answer :/. I wish I could help on this one. But just remember, the leaves are going to be eaten lol and the flowers.
