Yesterday i was playing with my girl checkers and she accidentally broke her front right leg pretty good. Took her to the vet and everything was healthy except of course the leg. Well the vet got the brake in line and splinted it up. Going back next week for a checkup. Im very worried for her i hope it heals right. Good thing on the ride home bob marleys three little birds came on the radio. wish her well.

What were you doing that broke her leg? How big is she?

i don't have approx length but she is 2.6 lbs roughly and the brake came from her wild behavior. i was supporting her correctly but the ways she twisted it caused a nice break.

I too hope for a nice recovery. (Obviously) Make sure you're really good about following the vets instructions to help the healing process. Do you have any pics of her in general?

sorry i don't have any pictures of her yet but i will soon. just imagine a 2 foot long tegu with medical bandages around her body and leg. Ill take some when she gets better id hate to make the first pics of her on here when she is injured.
