I know rock-eating is typical behavior, but was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how many and how big? Even though Sammy gets calcium and vitamin supplements, he still tries to eat rocks frequently when out on his daily walk. I have been taking him from them, as he already has at least 3 inside of him. I am guessing that as he gets older and his cloaca becomes bigger, he will be able to pass these without any harm, but my fear of him suffering an inverted cloaca prolapse makes me want to keep him from ingesting any additional rocks. Any thoughts?
