How Much Poo?

Is it normal for a tegu to poop multiple times a day? Kodo typically poops twice a day, once after breakfast (I know he's full stops eating and defecates) and once later in the afternoon (often on me). Also, I have never smelled reptile droppings as foul as those of the Argentine black and white tegu, especially if Kodo's been snacking on his favorite silversides.

Yes and I have learned to not breathe through my nose at all.

the smell is horrible but mine go much less than that. maybe every 2 days.

I think the older they get the less they go, which is definately for the best lol cause dealing with that smell daily is no pleasure, mines scratch to get out every other day also

U guys who get popped on ull don't take them a bath before they get to wonder around?try it might stop them popping on you'll also might have a lucky one who ONLY poops in the bath

Sometimes he poops right after I take him out of the bath, which is incredibly annoying.

I believe my tegu poops on me for his own amusement. because he is crafty about the way he does it. Kodo has a method where he poops on me but I don't notice until well after the fact. Normally, he urinates right before the turds start dropping but if he's chilling on my shoulder there is no warning pee. It's as if he figured out that was the signal I look for and is trying to pull the wool over my eyes. The other day I was talking to a guest, Kodo happily lounging on my shoulder, and the little bugger strafed me shoulder to shoe. I swear he was laughing at me through his eyes.
