HE is 1.5 years and has just started eating fruits and veggies when they are offered to him?

Yeah, from when they are babies to about a year old they should eat just meat. After a year try adding fruits/berries to each of his meat meals to mix it up a bit. From what I hear, tegu's don't normally like their veggies though.

Yeah I'm not sure but I think reds are supposed to have more fruits and things than a regular b&w tegu.

I have gotten my B&W to get a hand full of Black berries and 1 piece of Water mellow her whole life.
She just will not eat them and if I mix them into her meats, she just eats around them. Lol.

Most acidic fruits and veggies as well as bananas should be in moderation. My gu Tyson eats every fruit and vegetable ever put infront of him. From bananas to lettuce. He loves blue and blackberries the most. But in all honesty Bobby hardly even supports giving them fruits as as a staple because you can obtain 10x the positive ingrediants in the veggies with 1 tbsp of cod liver oil. So its basically up to you with the weekly feedings.
