How old is he?

My tegu is about 2 feet long but the guy who I got him from never told me how old he is. Can anyone help?

His length will not fully depend on age it all depends on how you feed them some tegus can max out in a year or two but if he is fat and was fed well i would say about a year and a half maybe more

yeah looks like an older gu to me i would say maybe two years but he looks like a she what is your ambient temp in your cage

You might be right, the guy who I got him from told me he was a male but I'm not sure either cause I haven't felt the bead around his tail. I keep his basking spot at 100-105 hot side is around 90 and cool side is at 75
