My roommate has a super small baby Nile monitor. The monitor somehow got out of its enclosure and crawled under the sliding glass door. Like the section that the rails are in on the bottom along the whole door. How do I get it out? Can I slide the door safely without injuring the monitor to try to get it out? Do I just try to lure it out with something? I'm more of an arachnid person so I don't know what to do.

You can lift the door off the track. Push it up towards the ceiling then pull it towards you.
