i dont understand

my black and white turned down ground turkey , tuna fish , chicken liver... today not to mention she wont touch beef liver or eggs... she ate a small rat yesterday and today she ate my red tegus pinky that he didnt eat.... the red tegu ate a cricket a small peice of tuna and a small bite of ground turkey and yesterday the day i got him he ate at least 5 crickets... i dnt know why maxzilla wont eat anything but mice or crickets lately.... she also again atacked her rock today in a diff spot.... its so weird she just finds a spot on the rock and consistenly tries to bite it ... why would she do that? if its out of hunger why isnt she eating the crickets that are in her tank instead of the rock or why isnt she eating any of the 5 diff foods i offer her in the bin?

Stop worrying so much, take one day at a time. Your tegus will go through changes where they like certain things one day and something different the next. As long as the tails is fat where it should be they have reserves. They do not have to eat every day. In the wild they most likely go days on end without eating anything.

Remember, all of our tegus are spoiled rotten! All is well, take a chill pill and relax and enjoy your pets!

I agree. my tegu (that I keep outside in a fairly large cage) once ignored ground turkey and eggs,and ate a rock instead!!? Ive since removed all the rocks i can find in the enclosure, but she still has days when she refuses certain foods.I think its normal.
