i finally did it

i just got off,the phone with mr.hill and soon i will the proud keeper of another beautiful tegu this will be tegu number 2 this time i hope i get a boy for sure lol i cant wait he will be here tuesday i want a red next and then im adoping an iguana that same day im going to be like a kid in a candy store lol

all set up i pick the uvb and heat lamps up tomorrow and the mulch probaly monday and he is all set to come home in 2 more days it feels like forever lol brings back memories im just trying to figure out how to introduce him to nero maybe give them a bath together and let them free roam a bit on my counch im a little nervous because nero is over 39" and the lil guy will only be between 18-21"(bobby said their all hibernating) but they will both be 5 1/2 mo. hope she dont terrify him im going to blow my camera up come tuesday lol i even picked a name his name will be archilles(troy is one of my fave movies) so be prepared for many pics

bad news wont be putting pics of achilles for a few days my dog got to my phone and chewed it to shreds and i use my phone fo take pics and to uploc pics on here so my phone shoulc be here wenesday hopefuly so i gotta wait an extra day to introduce him to you all :^(

thanks guys i dont worry about my dog and my reptiles much only because they have their own room that stays locked but its crazy because i just got this phone two weeks ago after he detroyed my first one so now he is confined to the basement

lol i will and a little update achilles will be here in the morning i spoke to bobby about an hour ago and he shipped him out today

he finally arrived and he is beatiful. i measured him and he is 7"svl and 18"stl so he is very small especially compared to nero who is 13"svl and 39"stl almost half her length im letting him bask now since he was very cold when he arrived and later i will introduce him to nero still cant post pics but there coming soon

heres a little update on achilles hes been here about an hour and a half and i gave him a soak with nero and he is so tiny compared to her lol but after he basked for a while he ate a little telapia and explored a bit and is back basking now

well i think he is down for the count. he stayed up yesterday basking and exploring his enclosure and last night he went in his hide and blocked off the intrance with his substrate . so i probably wont see him again til march. he reminds me of a little blue lol he is so dark i guess he will lighten up as he gets older.
