So i took the tegus out to feed them today, i know its gross but i decided to let rayne poop on the floor rather than putting him in the tub first, i did this because im still questioning his sex, this way i could see if his hemipenis would pertrude, i think it did but i cant be certain, something popped out and went back in but it was too small to see and i only could see one side, still no pertruding buttons, just a large scale by one side of the vent, no sperm plugs(that i know of) this is really confusing me lol, he is getting a lil jowly but i had a female with small jowls, he will be 1 y/o saturday, i dont know how to call this one lol

You can't miss them Tonka is 3 feet he pushed his out and they had to be close to two inches and they curved around. He really displayed them the other day it was pretty gross.

My male gozar use to pop em out every chance he got, the interesting thing is my giant is 3'+ and he hasnt popped them out either and he has buttons so know for certain he is a male, btw gozar was 2 y/o and about the same size as tonka

I had never seen them like that for the first time the other day after he had his first sperm plugs. I swear the bulges from his hemipenis appeared out of nowhere overnight. I thought he may be 2 but he only hibernated for 3 months so I was not sure. I bet he is closer to two. His jowls look like your guys just starting to show.

I have no idea when or what age/size they start "flashing" their manly parts, gozar was the only male tegu i had that did it and he was 2 y/o, he semi hibernated also and was about 40-42", rayne has many manly features ie. Wide head, jowls ect just no buttons i can feel
