Information on temp control?

Hi im new at all this. I have 2 tegus. I just got them about 2 weeks ago. I built a enclosure for them and im having troubles regulating the temps. I was told to use a device called temp control. Does anyone have any info on this? Or even a website so I can understand how it works? Thanks

I assume your taking about a thermostat, any good reptile website will sell them. Basically a control box where you set the temperature, a female socket where the male plug of the lights goes and a probe that you put inside the tank where you want to control, then the probe relays info back to the box which controls how hot the light will get. Hope this helped

Herpstat 2 by spyder robotics is what you need. Best one on the market if you ask me and most reliable. Your also going to need a heat emitter. Big apple has a really nice one that I got should last 5 plus years...
