Yeah. We are at 12. Each one with its own personality.
I know im crazy but i have the time and the desire to take care of all of them. i spend quality time with each one.

Hopefully one day ill be able to breed but untill that day im going to hand raise each one.

A friend of mine is going to probe them for me. I was leary at first but i know he has the expeierence and hes done it in front of me a few times so i am going to let him probe the other babies. he has already probed one (when i bought it).

Ive had a long conversation with a few people before deciding this. Im still willing to hear pros and cons on this though. There are a few people on this site that i have faith in thier expeirence and would love to hear thier opinion

^^ I second that probing is at best 50/50 on accuracy and quite dangerous. Also how do you plan on properly feeding, housing, and heating this many? I have 2 tegus and spend 100-200 a month on feeders alone not counting fruit and veggies.

All of my tegus get fed 95% whole prey and my food bill for them is about 200 a month. I have deals with a couple reptile stores plus i look around. I have a quail farmer and a rabbit farmer i keep in good terms with.

Actually my entire reptile food bill is about 200 with the other reptiles aswell. It use to be 400-500 though.

I get free rabbit kits and most my whole prey and that's insane if it's that cheap. But then again I also don't feed ground meat

No ground meat either. Most of my gus dont want fruits though so ive stoped buying bulk food for it to go to waste.
I have a deal with my regular supplier that i get 3k worms, 200 pinkies, 50 adult mice and 50 medium rats for 100$. Its a great deal but i have also spent so much money at his store in The last two years that i should be a partner.

but know that not all those tegus will get along or be able to be housed together. can you fit multiple 8ft cages?

Im aware of the feeding requirements for the adults. And yes i have the room for multiple 8footers. One of the reasons i am getting the babies probed is to be able to seperate them accordingly. We currently have 3 8footers and im working on a 12x5x5.
