What’s up guys, I have a year old BW Tegu (he turned a year old yesterday), he is really awesome but something is scaring me a little bit. I’ve read a lot of posts of Tegus being a year old and being almost 3ft long, my Tegu is just about 65cm or 2ft. Is it normal that he is shorter? He is incredibly active, he’s never been sick or anything, he’s eating a lot and I feed him whole prey 2-3 times a week. Is it just genetics? or am I doing something wrong?
BTW, he has UBV lights and his basking spot is always around 120F-130F
