I mentioned it in an other post already, I got my Tegu Travis roundabout 4 weeks ago. He's great, very agile and we're already quite bonded. He's a strong boy and a very good eater.
The only thing is: He will be three years this summer but is only around 37 inches. I know that his former owner didn't feed him very well, also his whole set up was not very adequate. I know this can be the reason why he is not that big, but do you think he might not even be a argentine but a columbian Tegu, that are said to stay smaller? I still find differences to distinguish argentines from columbian some times.. So what do you guys and gals say to the following pics? However, I really strive for him becoming the biggest, luckiest and healthiest boy he can get. Just want to be sure..
