Do you ever realize how much your gu has grown just by looking back at what you used to feed them and what they eat now?
Just fed ollie, He ate 3 adult mice a hand full of super worms and a bunch of crickets.
I remember when I was scared to feed him a pinky because it looked huge! when he would look fat from a turkey ball the size of the tip of my pinky and 5 crickets. wow, what a difference, and he isn't even that big yet!

I want to hear your similar stories!
What did you feed when you first got your gu and what do you feed now?

Yeah I remember when I got Samson she was eating Mice pinks. I remember when she went to Rat pups I thought that was a huge step. Now she is eating Sm-Med Rats.

It goes by pretty fast in hindsight.

I also remember when she would just eat a few tiny pieces of egg and Salmon. Now she can eat a whole egg in one sitting easy. :-D

I got my hatchling from Bobby at 6 weeks old in the summer of '08... It was an adorable little 9" dude with a green head...

I met a local guy who got a 6 week old hatchling from Bobby in the summer of '09... I brought my guy over and we held them in the same room. It was amazing to see the comparison after just one year...

I truly hope to see a '10 hatchling some time this summer to again make this comparison. Because at 44" and 7+ pounds my little guy just doesn't seem "little" any more! But seein gthem side by side I'm sure I'll be amazed...
