Yzma's 5 month grow up! So happy with this sweet girl. Shes definitely a mommas girl but will tolerate my husband as long as he is giving her neck scratches.

Looks like a pretty young girl to me!! They bond fast right? I had a similar situation as you and your husband with my female. My male goes into relaxation mode every time he sees me now....it took us awhile - he wanted to hate me so bad - but I'm his favorite. He trusts me now. I'm not a threat. However long it takes them to figure that out, it's worth waiting for. Good luck! You'll get lots of help here on this forum. Great people that love their Tegus.

Yeah. My best guess on age is 6 months or younger. Got her from a really reputable mom and pop pet shop, but they werent quite sure of her hatch date. Shes definitely bonded with me and will willingly come to me and wants to be next to me if im on the couch.

Then she's older than you think! She's almost full grown! I thought that with your pic, but wasn't sure. My female B/W Argentine was no more than 12 inches when I got her and she was 3-6 months. I'm no expert, but I feel confident in giving you that info. My female didn't reach 3 ft until she was about 1 1/2 yrs (I think...)

Your girl looks a lot like mine did. I miss her - she died in an accident this summer. She was just over a year and a half old, and got to 36 inches. Makes me sick how much I miss her.
