lighting and heating for leopard geckos

how do u guys have your heat and lighting set up, any UTH or just light fixtures? is the UTH good just for nigth and then the black light for night, but then they r nocturnal so what makes sense here? going to go read up some more....

Just a heat pad under one end of the tank. No lights needed at all. And keep the heat pad on 24/7

The only reaason a light would be needed is if the leo wasn't in a room which would recieve a day/night cycle. Otherwise just use flexwatt or a uth hooked up to a thermostat 24/7. I don't do night drops, I feel they are rather pointless.
