lighting for my new little guy

so like a lot of you on here im waiting for my little guy to hatch so he can finally join our little family and was wondering what some of you guys who have tegus recomend for lighting. i know about uvb and all that stuff ive just been out of the reptile game for the past 5 years while i was in the army and dont know what new stuff might be out their. when i get him he'll be in a 50g breeder while im putting his big enclosure togeather.

I would reccomend a mvb bulb since they put out higher amounts of uvb waves than a flourescent and they provide heat, the best are the mega rays, the power suns and you can also use a solar glo(not the greatest but gets the job done)

+1 for poersun, I use a 100w on my tegu along with a 75w I beleive halogen which emits lots of heat for a small price. When my tegu was young though I used the repti-sun10.0. If you go that route just make sure they can get really close to the bulb.
