lobster roaches

i mix sizes of lobster roaches and my tegu wont eat them why wont he eat them

i have mix sizes of lobster roaches for my tegu and its been 3 days and he still wont eat any roaches but he gladly eats ground turkey does anyone know why he wont eat any

Some tegus won't touch insects. Try mixing them in with the turkey and see if he will take them. Are you offering them live or dead?

Mine won't eat insects unless I kill them for her. I think she's just lazy.
Try wrapping them in the meat, that's what I do!

well i tried that and he wont eat them i have a friend who has a crested gecko i could give him some of them and i also have a tarantula and a bearded dragon that would probably love them

Best bet would be the tarantula and the beardie I'd say, though my dragon never like lobsters, and neither did I. I much prefer a colony of dubia to any other feeder instect that I've encountered.
