Ive been doing a bit of research and Ive decided on a B&W Tegu. I want to get a young one and it seems like its too late for this years breading. Is that correct or are there still some being born at this time of year? If it is too late Ill look to get one next year, does anyone know of any reputable breaders out there that I could approach. I noticed a guy named Bobby seems to have done a runner with peoples money so want to avoid this happening to me :) Thanks in advance.

I should have probably mentioned Im in the UK also.

You'd have to go with a breeder who ships international, so I'd go with Tegu Terra.

Check the UK reptile forum classified section, there are breeders of tegus there where you may be able to find one young or old and have it shipped to you or meet half way some where. There are always people selling tegus at different ages and times throughout the year you just have to check the site regularly.

Local would be cheaper since you don't have to worry about cites paper work. Plus you might be able to see and or spend time with the tegu before purchasing it. From Colombians to Blues, they're in the UK you just have to find them.

There's a lot of juvi's and grown-on B&W on preloved.co.uk or there's that Viper&Vine shop in Manchester that send live... They're out of tegus at the moment but are always getting them in.

Nice to see another UK poster :)

I got mine a couple of weeks ago from The Reptile Zone - Bristol U.K. If anyone knows which breeder they came from or any info on the strain would be much appreciated !? Good luck Fozzy on your new Tegu ! Let us know how you get on ?
