Bowser seems to be slowing down a bit for hibernation. He still eats like a horse though like every other day. But on the off days he just picks. here's my issue. I've noticed he likes to crawl alot on his belly. Sometimes he stands up and walks normal. but his front legs seem to wobble when he first wakes up. it looks like he is stretching and then hes fine. Do tegus stretch like us? He seems to only do it when he first wakes up or right after he eats and crawls up on his rock to bask. I've got a megaray 160w mvb aproxx 18" from his basking spot and his hot side is between 100-110F. his cool side is between 75-85F his light is on from 9am-9pm.does this sound like mbd? If so, I dont see how. All my settings are perfect. His humidity is a constant 68%. He is on eco earth because he was eating his cyprus. Any advice would help. Just want to make his world perfect...

Forgot to mention, i dust his food with reptical w/o d3 twice a week. He eats a menu of fuzzies,ground turkey, chicken liver, chicken hearts, and chicken gizzards. as well as the occasional meal of superworms and scrambled eggs. He's aproxx 28 inches long and was born in late june. I got him from Bobby on July 13. All have had cod liver oil drops added. PLEASE HELP!!

everything sounds great and your taking good care of your GU. hibernation if your keeping lights heat on your GU is still going to be only active for maybe 2 hours a day sleeping the rest.
