I'm sorry not sure where to place certain posts yet
Hello I need some advice I haven't been able to find a vet and one of the tegus I purchased has an injury (red swollen and rectangle snapped but small and only takes up two rows of scales) pre-purchase that I wasn't informed of. And noticed when I handled her I noticed some king of wound on the bottom of her tail I was wondering if y'all know what it may be from and how I can treat it at home. I'm searching for a vet currently just in case its bad

Pics would be helpful to see what is going on. You can use nepsporin on your gu. Try that and see if it heals up.

This was an injury that she recieved before purchase, I'm wondering if Clyde may have bit her, they are litter mates and have never been apart

I would keep an eye on them to make sure that they are not showing aggression to each other. Tegus who share enclosures sometimes need to be separated if they start to get aggressive. From what I can see it does not look deep. She may have just snagged it on something. Who knows. Keep up with the nepsporin and keep As clean as possible.

Thank you once again I'll keep up with it and it doesn't seem to be painful for her. The two usually spend time cuddling together and won't do anything without the the other but I'll keep an eye on em, Clyde is larger and quite a voracious eater so I'll watch for food aggression but it doesn't seem to be an issue yet

Its scabbed up, but bigger idk if the scab is making it look big. She is also limping and slightly dragging her front right leg other than that she's healthy, life in her eyes energy, eating well now but I'm taking her to a vet asap as I have just found one! Clyde is 100% fine but he can go too i ll post when vet tells me what's up

Glad to hear she's healing well. How are the shots going? Are they tough to administer?

Oh poor thing. I have had to give snakes shots before but they do not even flinch. I'm sure a tegu would not be quite so easy. Lol. Hope the shots clear everything up!
