Meet the Parents

I got an email from Bobby Hill today telling my what the parents of my future tegu are!

Little Inara's mum and dad are *drum roll* Roy and Sky.

I've watched videos of Roy free roaming, so I've got a good idea of what he looks like. Anyone know what Sky looks like? Light or dark? or has anyone gotten offspring from them before?

I'm just getting antsy and trying to picture what she'll look like all cozy in her enclosure.

(and yes, I'm naming her Inara after the character in Firefly)

ive known that for a while i asked bobby i now i was bothering him but theres nothign about sky on the internet though ive been looking heard roy makes nice highwhite babys though either way there all gunna be nice

I could jump with excitement. In fact, I think I just might xD. I just bought a 55 gal tank off craigslist to start her off in! How long do you think that'll last her?

If the dimensions are 48x13x20, I would say until he/she is about 1' in length. If he hibernates, you may be good for a year.

They didn't give dimensions, but that seems to be about right.

hum that cage you got six months or less. All depends on how long it hibernates, eating and all that. Some tegus hit the 3 foot or even 4 foot mark on their first birth day.

I'm hoping for one of creams babies I'm getting a extreme female and if I got one that looked remotelt like cream I could die happy lol

There used to be a pic of her on the other tegu site but its no longer there, maybe bobby has some, i do remember she was nice and light, and as adam mentioned roy makes some really awesome hight white babies, here is mines from last season

I have no doubt you would, there use to be some pics bobby posted of some other roy babies that were very similar to rayne but the pics got deleted wwhen we switched server :^( a lot of bobbys pics got deleted

yea i hope and pray either way hes my baby boy i now i guessing they did on the tegu.com cus i saw he posted some pics of sky the mom but ig uess since its been a whiel it didnt work really bumbed lol look on there for like 3 hrs to find out the pic didnt work
