Missing Nails

When I got my tegu he had two missing nails later he lost a third due to me grabbing him off his basking spot all nails have healed but will be grow back or what? He is about a year and a few months and 2.5 feet he did hibernate for six months and he is growing more than before hibernation but he hasnt taken off yet is that okay?

Yes, it's normal for them to grow a lot slower when they hibernated. Don't worry he will catch up. I hate to say this but the nail will not grow back. I have a blue/red hybrid that had a nail missing when I first got him ( he was still a baby ). We have him almost two years now and the nail never grew back.
