Does anyone know if this is any good. It would be very cool if this could take place of whole prey but that is very hard to do since there is just so many benifets from whole prey. It is originaly called monitor meatloaf but tegus are the new world equivelent so I think it would be OK. What do you guys think?

human multi's aren't designed for reptiles not to mention centrum multi's generally suck even for humans they are just over marketed. They aren't as bioavailable, the source of the vits and the fillers aren't good. Any human based multi really isn't as effective with reptiles as with humans, we digest and convert things differently. With that being said I recommend actual food to cover the animals needs I also recommend actual food for humans as supplements aren't the same as the vitamins from food.

Similar to what the article mentions can be done (and is recommended) with ground turkey, cod liver oil and beef liver but that won't exclude or replace whole prey.

Oh. I was hoping to find a way out of whole prey because it can be expensive( but I was prepared either way). So there is no whole prey/rodent alternative or equivalant?

1-2 mice/rats/chicks/ducklings a week is far from expensive imo, I doubt you will find a direct replacement.

How much does Beef liver run on average. I saw the only meats Bobby rutinly ( spelling?) feeds his tegus are Ground turkey plus Cod liver oil and then the beef liver. Im guessing that is is the best meat to work with the cod liver oil. I found this and it might substitute it. Tell what you guys think.
