monstruo not eating

my tegu has not eaten in the past 2 days except for 2 small bites of ground turkey i got him a pinky and he didnt eat i tried crickets and he didnt want those either i dont know whats wrong with him it is really scaring me

He's probably slowing down for hibernation. Is he sleeping more than usual? Spending more time in his hide? Has he taken a crap yet?

yeah i had him in his 30 gal feeder so its not impaction and i dont want him to hibernate because i have no thoughts of breeding him but i guess i should let him. yeah he occasionally is basking and then goes to his one of his 2 hides. he also i keep finding crap in his cage

Well then I highly doubt that he's sick. If he wants to hibernate, then he's going to without anybody stopping him. I guess we'll see what happens!

Its just that time of year either your tegu will slow down or hibernate, regardless of what u do they will do what they want, best bet to having a healthy tegu is to take ques from your tegu and act accordingly
