More of my tegu tales...

Last night I took out my beardie. Their cages are near each other so the tegu could see that I was taking her out. He freaked out. I can't believe my tegu is so possessive...lol, I was kind of flattered. He was trying to come out too..."oh, it's out time...why are you taking her out, take me, mommy, take me!" I started walking out of the room and I look at his terrarium and he made a running jump into the glass to try to jump towards me.

I felt so bad (that had to hurt) but the beardie needs some attention too!

Our big male Beardie black beards anything that isn't a human.

It's interesting that the Tegu seems to want the attention, where the Beardie probably doesn't care one way or the other.

our beardie alex black beards and bobs at anything male. i swear he's very possessive of Jen. if she leaves the room during spring/summer time, he'll follow her then run towards me and bob as if he's telling me to back off
