Today

The little fireplace cleaner thing is just used to help move around the mulch. So far its not showing any signs of slowing down, up and about all day.

Thank you both! :D

Its eating 2-3 pinkies once a week (probably ready for the next size up), chicken, some eggs, turkey necks and talapia. Not very interested in any veggies, I offer some occasionally but I'm not expecting it to eat them.

I havent measured recently but I want to say around 18 inches but its hard to tell, some angles its small others its huge! I'm curious too, I'll have to measure him/her when its up tomorrow. It seems to be growing really fast, shedding every week sometimes just under a week. Is that normal? No shedding issues, usually giant sheets of skin. I haven't had a large lizard before so this is fun.

Awesome. Another question I had was if my gu should be plump? Its far from underfed and skinny but some of the other tegus I've seen are a bit thicker in the gut area. I'm guessing its just how mines growing but I want to make sure.

Well, between our B/W "Boszki" and our All American "Oscar", the A/A is DEFINITELY more "plump" looking. I was worried for a bit because Boszki just didn't seem to be filling out like Oscar was (even though his appetite is fine), but I've come to the conclusion that he's perfectly healthy and fine; he just has a longer torso than Oscar. ;)

Just a side note about the shedding is make sure to get all of the shed off his toes and tip of his tail! He looks great!

Alright sweet. Yeah its longer than my beardie but not really plump. The sheds seem to be great, I haven't noticed any left overs on the tail or toes. :-D :-D Thank you all again
