i got my info from a few sites, reading what others have posted on here, savannahmonitor.org or .com whatever it is and googling here and there. the one thing i would stress the most is making sure that they have enough substrate to burrow, i've seen a lot of videos and care sheets that say you can keep them on news paper or paper towels... i don't think its a great idea, they like to burrow, mines a juvie right now and hes got close to a ft of substrate he can burrow into if he chooses to.

yeah i have plenty of substrate.i have an entire bag of cypress mulch and a bag of soil and play sand.haha so i got that covered.i have also heard of some savys that dont like the sand.theres one girl on you tube that has a very tame one and she lets it roam the house and says the lizard doesent like getting dirty.sounds kinda wierd to me but w/e.o and thanks ill check that site out and see if i can find something new.
