[attachment=3999]My tegu recently woke up from hibernation and has been eating like a monster everyday since he started eating, i never see him drink any water so i decided to pour a glass out of water near his face into his waterbowl and he drank from it, So maybe he just likes running water? i'm not sure but as soon as he did that all the water came back out of his mouth all bubbly and out of his nose.. I'm not sure what to think of it since this only happened once before when he drank water when he woke up one day a couple months ago i just figured he was sloppy but I just want to make sure it isnt anything serious.

p.s his name is Mike since I couldnt come up with a good name for him lol

Pretty 'gu! I love the white face, I wish my girly had a white face like that. If you're worried about him not drinking enough, try running a bath for him, so he can soak, and mess around, he may drink from there. My baby doesn't drink lots and lots, but she drinks multiple times a day, and she's got a big dog ceramic bowl for her water.

Boost the humidity while he's in shed to help it come off and keep an eye on the tail and toes. Does he usually stand like that or carry his self that way when he moves? I don't know if he has a kink or what's going on around the lower back and hips but it doesn't look right.

well, the way he walks seems like normal tegu walking behavior, i can get a video if you want to see if its normal. and after this post ive been seeing my tegu drink a lot more, go figure
