i was looking through my phone and found four pics from the day i got hima and from yesterday ive had diesel about 2 weeks now and im guessing hes 3-5 months old

thankyou he had just shed that day

heyy i have a question how do u get shed off because ever since i first met him in the pet store 3 weeks ago he has had a spot of like dry unshed skin on his tail is there a way to get it off without freaking him out and makin him drop his tail?

Try soaking him in warm water. Zilla makes this wonderful Shed-Aide stuff that works great. Kodo was starting to peel last week so I put him in the tub with some of the stuff and the skin just sloughed right off in big chunks. Bathtime is also great for buildun your relationship with your lizard.

Beautiful tegu :) and yes, if there's a shed problem, you'll want to soak your tegu a couple times a day for about 15 minutes or so in warm water. This may also make him poo, but you probably already know that. Make sure the humidity in his tank is at least 75% too. I've noticed that Link won't shed properly unless it's almost constantly at 75% to 80% humidity.
