My first Tegu

Hi everyone! I just bought my first Black and White. Im really excited about him. I bought him from LLL reptiles and im guessing he is about 1 1/2 to 2 years. Just looking for some tips about how often do I feed him and taming tips. He isn't real aggressive but when I pet him he starts to get nervous and may hiss some but anyhow I just got him so he is probably a little ticked off still from the trip across the states in a box. Any advice I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Also all he has done since I put him in the enclosure is burrow. Is it just cuz he is nervous to everything new?

He should only burrow when he sleeps, hes probably just nervous. I would feed every 2 days.
