Awesome! I have always wanted a chameleon, but I have so many other pets! Hmm.. actually I have about the same amount as you do.. Are they really that challenging to take care of once you set them up properly and they get established?

there are some species that are much more "hardy" you can say(Veileds and Panthers i believe are the best for first timers). They do need their specifics, but every reptile does. They just aren't really a...(cant think of a good word) but "handlable" reptile. They like their space. But I can NOT get enough of them, i have two veileds and two panthers...and two more veileds are on their way...Any animals have their challenges just have to overcome that :D Once my girl got "established" markie I have to say shes easier to take care of than my CWD's, they MESS stuff up and poop in the swimmin tank i have for them...could be favortism but i love my CWD's too :D

I shouldn't be discussing this with you.. now I REALLY want one! Haha. I'm guessing that since you talked about this panther meeting your female, you plan on breeding? If so, let me know how that goes since I am so close to you! Haha.

Lol, yeahh i "PLAN" on it but who knows what might actually happen, but yeah youre only like an hr or so from houston? My female will be of age sooner than the male, but i HOPEEE to see some nice colors :D (i dont think i have ever had my fingers this crossed before!) If i remember correctly, the veileds will probably be "of age" sooner than the panthers, veileds only need around 6 months to mature before reproduction i believe

I moved to College Station about 2 months ago.. but I'm still about an hour from Houston. Haha. Well, good luck with all of that! Veiled babies are the cutest!
