Here is Razor my new tegu i got yesterday i love him very much and as soo as i get my large cage set up in he goes any advice would be welcome hasnt shown any signs of defensiveness yet how long should i wait to hold and start taming him i have had beardies boas ball pythons skinks and i know to give them a good week or so before messing with them but should i wait that long with razor since i want to start the bonding process early

Put a shirt with your scent in the cage so while here is getting used to his new environment he gets used to your scent. It worked great with my tegu. Give the tegu a couple days to adjust before taking him out and playing with him. But I would let him see you around the cage, to get a bit used to seeing you.

He looks good. Congrats! I would let him get settled in a bit before playing with him too much. You want to make sure you keep his stress levels down
