Hi! I’m new to this group chat . I’m also an owner of a black and white tegu , Mango . He’s been having problems pooping for the last three days . I’ve been giving him warm soaks twice a day , which he seems to like , and he always goes a little while he’s soaking , but mainly just urinates, with a very small amount of feces. He’s still eating , but not burrowing …. I just started adding a little mineral oil to his turkey , so wanted to ask if anyone else had any more advice ? Also , is it possible to give an enema to him at home ? I don’t want to hurt him either . I’ve also been tummy rubs while he’s in his tub.

Welcome to the forum. Has your tegu pooped yet? A few days isn't necessarily room for concern yet.
He did finally ! It had been over a week and a half . I read other’s experiences and took their advice from this group . I did long soaks twice a day and mineral oil . When it came out it was huge and mainly his substrate . I no longer feed him in his enclosure . I’m looking for new ideas to change out the substrate so he never goes through this again .
