my tegu rolls onto his back

sometimes my tegu rolls onto his back when he is basking in the sun,
does anybody know why is he doing that?
he just rolls onto his back, stays there for a few sec/min and then rolls back to his belly.
is it some kind of a disease, or do i have a weird tegu 8)

This is not the first time I've read posts here of Tegus doing this...

Although mine has never done it in front of me...

I have no clue why a Tegu might do this...

"Some kind of a disease"? His back itches! Thats all, nothing wierd, its just some personality. You should not worry, instead enjoy your friends personality. Maybe even scratch his back once in a while.
