my tegu wont eat ground turkey anymore

i put her in the bin the last 2 days and she only eats a bite or 2 of turkey but then atacks crickets as soon as i put her back in her home... then today she atacked her rock again so i offered her turkey she denied it... offered her it again in the bin she denied it.... i then put a small rat in there and she annihilated it within a minute.... u think its cause i got a diff brand of ground turkey or its just a coincendence and shell eat some again maybe next time? she also hates beef liver i dnt know what else to feed her she even hates eggs it seems

This may sound a little gross but try mixing the crickets in with the turkey. Also, feed her the crickets in her feeding bin.

mine did the same thing jus quit eating the ground turkey, he might jus be getin sick of it and wants more variety...feed him some other foods for a while and he will come back around

Do a small mix of turkey and tuna, I noticed when I first tried tuna mine loved it, he was very active with the smell of the tuna, use a bit of the water from the tuna in the mix also, see if that works

thats a great Idea ,Im gonna try that too cause mine has lost some interest in turkey and has never seemed to like beef liver, just takes a bite or two and stops.
