hi, recently my tegu has been lunging at me in his cage when i take him out to feed him.once he eats hes golden.i was wondering igf anyone had any tips on stopping this little behavior.

Your GU might not be getting as much food as he'd like. You could try getting to him earlier for feeding, morning and evening feeding sessions, so he's not quite so hungry when you approach. It's nearly impossible to overfeed a growing tegu if providing proper care and diet, they might eat to the point where they look like they're going to explode and the next day appear somewhat skinny.

thanks,i was thinking of doing that but it didnt want to him to so big he couldent move lol.i see what people mean when they say they grow like weeds.i think hes put on at least a pound or two. and grown like 4 inches..
