I just got a black and white tegu so I was told bUT he or she looks gold so idk help!!

Looks like a Colombian gold tegu to me. I hope you didn't pay more than $40 as these aren't captive bred very much if at all right now.

I think I got a good handle on it maybe alittle help with taming but I mean I can hold him but some times he gets alittle pissy ya no

Colombian. Colombian bnw and colombian gold are the same species. If this was sold as argentinian however, you have been had.

Owell I payed what a Columbian sells for so not worried about lol I'm just happy to have one

Not all golds are from Columbia. The ones that have a nice Golden pattern are usually from Trinidad or Venezuela.

And if you handle them and feed them by hand or with forceps. They will be just like anargentine. Actually I find them more active then the bigger ones. I have both Goldens and argentines
