New Black And White Tegu

Hey everyone i have a couple questions, i just got my B&W Tegu this week. Shes already 3 ft long so im assuming shes an adult, she isnt aggressive at all and loves to bask in the sun.
i was wondering is it natural for her to turn away fruit? i gave her watermelon, melon, papaya, and she always seems to lick it for awhile then walk away.
then i gave her ground turkey and she seems to love that, is it okay to feed her just meats? and if so what other meats are okay?
also, i love to have her out of her cage, does she get the same treatment from the sun as she would being in her cage?

Any outside time is good for them, no light you buy will be better or even comparable to the sun. As far as the fruit is concerned, it's good to try for a varied diet, but they do eat mostly meat anyways.
