New (hopefully) boy came today!!
Kid's christened him "Jango".
I'd post some pics but he looks like every other healthy, beautiful, green-headed, baby GU right now. :mrgreen:

Dunno. I was so excited to get him, I forgot to ask!

I put an old T-shirt in his enclosure along with a hide box. Just like my 2 previous tegu's, he prefers the shirt. They seem to like the security of being covered up, with something touching them all around.
Whenever I could not find my last one, I'd put a pillow on the floor of my bedroom. By the next day, there she'd be, all curled up under the pillow.
I made her a "bag den". It was a bag about 2'x2' with a wire sewn into the opening to hold it open a little.
Looks like I will be making another one.

I like SW a little ... my kids are fanatics!
I started collecting Boba Fett stuff about 30 years ago. Nobody else, just Boba Fett. My kids can usually be seen playing with some pretty desirable SW collectables, not Boba Fett stuff, but other characters that have been liberated from their MIB prisons. :-D

Here's another T-shirt idea: Use a shirt that you've worn and not washed (the more worn the better). I know it sounds a little gross, but maybe they will associate your smell with comfort. Just a thought.

I guess I have a little catching up to do. I had my last GU about 30 years ago. It's been all varanids since. This new little guy brings back a lot of memories and makes me wonder why I waited so long to get another one.
