I just rescued a beardie that was being kept on calci sand, and I think it is impacted. I took him off as soon as I got him home. he is on paper bedding, and I have been giving him warm baths, and mixing cod liver oil to his food. He has yet to poop. any other ideas?

How old is it, how long have you had it and what makes you think its impacted?
Does it look bloated or has it been straining and trying to go with nothing coming out?
I don't have any experience with this but I do know that squash acts as a laxative to some reptiles and helps move things along. Canned baby food, canned pumpkin and applesauce.
Also try massaging his belly while its soaking and try to get it to swim a little. That will help move things around also.
Like I said before I don't have any personal experience with this. So if you want pm Txrepgirl and or check out some of her videos on you tube about impactions. Also Laurafl has experience with beardies you may want to pm her too. Just in case they don't see this thread.
