You may wish to read some of Varnyard's recent reviews. You can check Fauna or the like to get an idea.

You're also probably best off going for a full size enclosure right off the get go. They grow very fast and it's unlikely a temporary enclosure will last long - which means you'll just end up having to do twice the work for the same outcome.

The general dimensions are 6x3x3 for minimum, and 8x4x4 as most recommended.

Do NOT get a tegu from Varnyard. You will be scammed of your money's worth.

Agreed with min demensions and varnyard. I , as well as many others, paid in full then never got the tegu. go local or talk to members who have experience with other breeders.

Welcome to the forum. As many have stated, Bobby Hill had some issues with delivering tegus and refunding money in the past two years. Because of that issue, it has has been impossible to recommend him as a breeder.

If you're looking for a recommendation since everyone advised against varnyard, I recommend teguterra. However, there are good breeders on this site as well!
