Hello likeminded people. I'm in the UK and have two blues that have their own room in an outbuilding. The female has recently laid her first clutch which are all doing very well. I belive I'm the third person in the UK to have fertile eggs but until they hatch I can't call myself a blue breeder yet unlike Chris Smith and Anthony Wade who have had great success with blues in the UK over the last 6 months. I'm looking forward to sharing and gaining knowledge with and from you all in the future

Man it seems like there are more blues in the UK then here in the US. Looks like its time for me to head over and visit with family.

Thanks for the welcome. You've got to be kidding though, surely most blues being bred are in the USA. Those of us that have blues in the UK got them in the last few years and Chris was the first to breed, Anthony's first clutch is still hatching now and I've just candled mine and they're all looking good. There is a great and passionate tegu community in the UK and the Brirish Blue is something that we will be building on. There are some stunning high whites, Chris and Anthony are breeding some lovely ones.

Bosco has a friend now but she is still a bit young for him right now.

I love tea, do not like coffee though. Downside is the room temp beer might have to bring a cold glass with me.

Lol, warm beer is an aquired taste. What I do have here is I live in one of the few parts of the UK that is alive with wild reptiles, adders (vipers) grass snakes, Viviparous lizards, slow worms (legless lizards) are thick on the ground, the UK can keep an easily pleased herper happy, even with warm beer.

I don't know I spent my summers with family over in the UK; I will take my Southern California Herp adventures any day. Its hard to beat a place that is known to be a ecological hot spot; although the ideas of adders is enticing. Not to mention I would have to switch careers to move there, no large carnivores to study for a predator biologist.

You lucky lucky soul. As I said you have to be really really easily pleased to be a content herper over here, the winter slightly gets in the way aswell!
