I got my baby golden tegu about a month ago he is very friendly for what they say about the gold ones it's one of my first reptiles the only other one I have is a crested gecko

Well you have your work cut out for you, but golden tegus are awesome. Despite there bad rep, I still think they are a great species.

This species I think is kept better now than in the past. Not so much the easiest-tamed species but doesn't have to be the monster as it has in the past been irresponsibly treated.
