So i got this guy about 2 weeks ago he has been calming down very nice. I was told he was a 2012 baby buy im too sure about it he is 12.5 inch long he just seams too big and he has no green on him. His tank set up is, hot side 100-107 cool side 78-80 humidity is 60-80 and he has a repsun 10.00 strip uvb on him for 12 hours a day. When he first came i gave him 3 pinky mice and he ate them all i then was giving him group up turkey, chicken gizzards and livers, and hard boiled eggs all with rep-cal no D3 on them. I also put 3 crickets in from him and he eat all 3 but he has not taken any more since then. I have been leaving the food in his pen when i leave in the morning but at the end of last week is still all there, he might have took a small pice of some thing put that's it he has slowed down with his eating(he was never a strong appetite when he was taking the food he would eat one time a day and not take any more. He is still pooping every day and does not seem to have lost weight. He sleeps most of all day and i can only catch him out walking around a few times when i get home but i do know hes out moving around a lot when im not home since his pen is always ripped up. So idk if they told me he was a 12 baby and just pulled him out of hibernating or what but any help would be appreciated thank you.

S/He could have been hatched near the end of the season last year and just coming out of hibernation right now. If s/he is coming out of hibernation then he may not eat much and be slow for a few weeks. I found one of the best ways to stimulate them is to get him some natural sunlight. If you cant do that the next best thing is to have his cage near a window. S/Hes a real nice and healthy looking Tegu. It sounds like you have all the bases covered.
