Hey I'm new to this forum and owning a tegu I've had my little girl for about three weeks now And I feel like she's my child the last two days her right arm has been a little swollen I took her to underground and I was told it was just shedding but second opinions never hurt .... She has good uvb and eats like a champ fuzzies crickets chicken liver little pieces of fruit sometimes and small bits of fish on occasion I'm working on getting her to like turkey at the moment she's not interested any replies will be greatly appreciated

im taking her to a reptile vet tomorrow if anyone has any advice on questions to ask it would be greatly appreciated she's limping now but other than her arm she eats great and is very active plus she's a genius

If I were to wager a guess, I'd go with an infection. Perhaps from a small wound. Good to have a herp vet. Let us know how things go.

* but the guy gave me a mbd scare he has absolutely no bone structure damage but he gave me a new calcium supplement and told me to keep on the diet I have

probably a sprain she likes to jump and hit the glass that or the beginning of mbd she has good lighting and I have been dusting

Upgrading to a better light system tomorrow and I will post pictures I just hate how I was there for 3 hrs paid 258$ and got no definite answers but She is worth it
