Hey all!

I'm Cassie and I've been looking into getting a tegu for a few years now. My fiance and I were ready for one this past summer but a bunch of moves ended up taking place and we wanted to make sure we were settled, without the chance of needing to up and move again, before we got anything.

I had never even realized there were forums for tegu owners! I'm pretty happy to have found this site as I know, from experience on other reptile forums, that the community is way more helpful than any caresheet or book on the subject.

I'll probably lurk around here and browse for answers if we encounter any problems, but I'm still looking forward to being a member here and, eventually, sharing our tegu with you all as well!

Aside from a tegu in the future we currently own
1.0 ball python - We've got a Mojave male from Underground
2.1 BCI - 1 hypo het sunglow from BHB, one anery from Ben Siegel, and a normal female
0.0.1 pacman frog
1.1 red eared sliders
0.2 Rose Hair tarantulas

I've had skinks and crested geckos in the past and my partner has cared for/owned crested geckos, bearded dragons, monitors, and a Colombian tegu

Hey I just signed up also tegus are awesome I own 3. Plus a huge black throat 26 bearded dragons mostly babies, an iguana, uromastyx, geckos. My family loves them all but our Tegus are special.
