I actually got her from our local reptile rescue.

A rescue tegu! I live in Mcallen TX just south of you! My tegu is barely even four inches STV length! I take him outside and he like to explore. I made a small harness out of leather and shoe laces. XD I love 'The Great King Snugglewumps' as I call him! Anyways, good for you! ^-^
