Howdy yall, new here to the forum and raising tegus. I am born and raised in Florida, and ive always been around animals with reptiles being my favorite, and in Florida, we have a great variety of Natives always wandering through your property(something i miss). Its been a while since ive lived back home, i am currently in the Navy and stationed in Virginia, and ive recently bought an Argentine B/W Tegu, not sure on a name yet, its prolly bout a ft and a half long, Ive not seen/felt and spurs by the slit, so im guessing it may be a female, though i dont know if they develop with sexual maturity, gotta read around about that. So far "she" doesnt mind being handled and just likes to explore and get into everything. The pet store said "she" was still aggressive and tail whipped, but i havent had any problems since I brought her home. Ill put some pictures later today
